Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the First Christian Church in Henrietta. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta under the direction of Davis Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Roy Dale was born on August 17, 1959 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Roy Leonard and Concha (Wright) Shelton. He attended Henrietta schools and was active in FFA and was President of the Building Trade program. He met the love of his life Mary Parker and they were married in December of 1981 and they spent 44 wonderful years together. Roy was a hard working man and enjoyed being a rancher and member of the First Christian Church in Henrietta. He loved OU Football and the Henrietta Bearcats.
Roy Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Concha Shelton.
Survivors include his wife Mary Shelton; sons Jason Maxwell, Colby Shelton; daughter, Cara Willis and husband Jessey; grandchildren, Jadin Willis, Tristan Durbin, Jason Maxwell Jr., Braylee Shelton, Brooklyn Shelton, Maggie Maxwell; great grandchildren, Charlotte Durbin and Tate Durbin; brother, Randy Shelton and wife Frances; sister, Beverly Moore and husband Randy.
