Elaine Joyce Edwards

Elaine Joyce Edwards, 78, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Visitation will be held between 6-8 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Davis Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Henrietta.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 10:00 am, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Henrietta, Texas with Father M. Francis Chinthamalla, celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta under the direction of Davis Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Henrietta, Texas.

Elaine was born on August 3, 1947 in Henrietta, Texas to Marvin and Josephine (Bullinger) Borgman. She grew up in Henrietta and graduated from Henrietta High School and later moved to Wichita Falls. She worked as an accountant for United Services and later worked at Wells Fargo Bank before retirement. She moved to Grand Prairie in 1978 where she met her husband Robert Wynn Edwards and they married in 1979 in Dallas, Texas. Together they lived in Grand Prairie and loved to have to fun. She loved their Las Vegas trips with Tony and Carole and loved to cook for her family especially. She was known as "Mamaw", to the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Glen, Keith, Jerry, Darlene and Loretta.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Wynn Edwards; daughters, Lisa Edwards Dover and husband Cary, Leah Edwards Robinson and husband Keith; grandchildren, Tyler, Tiffany, Katelyn, Aubrey, and Cara; great grandchildren Alanna, Kason, Anthony, Easton, Joseph and Landon; brothers, Tony Borgman and wife Carole, and Larry Borgman.
