-----------------
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Ruby "Bing" Sanz, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on March 17, 1957, Philippines, Ruby was a beloved daughter, mother, and friend to many.

She spent her later years in Gastonia, NC, where she worked as a dedicated machine operator in the filter manufacturing industry at Mann-Hummel (Wix) for over 40 years. She was a hard worker and never met a stranger. Ruby was called a high roller, loved to gamble and bet, and she was good at it. She was very humble and giving to others as well.
Ruby is survived by her cherished daughters, Nicole Daquioag (Giuliana Cabreja), Khadijah Watson (Derrall Middlebrooks), Destiny and Heaven Hernandez; son, Michael Handy; siblings, Samuel Lanner (Jean), Elsa Lanner, Ricky Lanner, and Emiiano Lanner; father of Nicole, Junior Daquioag (Maria Rosario); bestfriends, Joseph Johnson, Mylin and Tommy Alexander, Maria Atkinson (Randy), and Jeff Lindsay; and fur grandbaby, Cartier "Buboy", who will always carry her memory in her heart.
We invite everyone who knew and loved Ruby to join us for a farewell celebration. A visitation will be held at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel on September 13, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
Ruby was a shining light in the lives of those who knew her, and she will be dearly missed. Please come to share memories, celebrate her life, and support one another during this difficult time.
Ruby was preceded in death by: her parents, Elena Lanner, Ricardo Sanz; and several brothers and sisters.
