Ruell, 69, made his journey to heaven on July 22, 2015.

Born in Akron, he built his home with the love of his life, Vicki, in Suffield. Ruell graduated from Ellet High School in 1964. He retired from Goodyear Chemical with over 30 years of service. From head to toe, Ruell was nothing but spiffy at all times. His unique sense of humor made it hard for anyone to do anything but smile in his presence. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and spending time with his furry companion, Cooper and beloved family.

Preceded in death by mother, Reable; and father, William Thurston Fisher; brother, William Fisher; and nephew, Brian Fisher. He is survived by wife of 50 years, Vicki Fisher; sons, Todd (Julie) Fisher, Chad (Rhonda) Fisher; grandchildren, Mackenzie (Dan) Feathers, Alyssa Brown, Hannah and Jacob Fisher; brothers, Richard (Jan) Fisher, Rodney (Linda) Fisher; nephews, Darin (Carla) Fisher, Jason (Marlo) Fisher and Eric Fisher.

Friends and family will be received Sunday, July 26, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. A short service will follow. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
