She is preceded in death by her parents, Mauricia Rebollar and Toribio Arroyo; son, Jesus Martinez; siblings, Julia Lopez, Guadalupe Arroyo, Galdina Arroyo, Irene Arroyo, Felipe Arroyo, Celso Arroyo, and Eduardo Arroyo; son in-law, Darnell Matthews; and daughter in-law Maria Martinez.
Rufina is survived her loving husband, Pedro Martinez; children, Jose Martinez (Maria Guadalupe Martinez), Maria De Jesus Martinez (Jose De Jesus), Pablo Martinez, Celia Matthews, Fidencia Gonzales (Armando Gonzales), Maria Del Carmen Martinez (Adalberto Martinez), Tomas Martinez, Juan Gabriel Martinez (Annette Martinez); 35 grand-children, as well a numerous loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas, 78752; Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5909 Reicher Dr, Austin, TX 78723; Interment will follow at Cook Walden Memorial Park Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate Hwy, Austin, TX 78753.
