Russell K. "Tony" Hartman

Russell Tony Kenneth Hartman, 88, passed away on October 19, 2024 at the Veterans Home at Holyoke. Born on February 9, 1936, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Leoma (Sams) Hartman.
Tony loved his family, friends, and eating good Italian food. Some of his favorite things to do were watching the Red Sox and the Patriots. He also loved cars, thats why he was so good at selling them. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and then the U.S. Air Force. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren, Joe, Gina and Jamie, playing sports; he was at every game, and happily drove to Friendlys anytime anyone wanted ice cream. He loved singing in the choir at Mount Carmel Church and with the Dan Kane singers.
Along with his parents he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy (DiLeo) Hartman, brother, Clifford Hartman, sister, Donna Caskey, grandson, Gregory Gosselin, mother-in-law, Florence Cressotti and sister-in-law, Joanne (DiLeo) Israel.
Tony is survived by his daughters, Kelley Mickiewicz & fianc Tom Ashe, Lori Weiss & husband Kevin, Vicki Gosselin & husband Donald, and Barbara Hartman & wife Johanna Gross, sons, Scott Hartman & wife Ann, and Mark Hartman & wife Debra, grandchildren, Joseph Mickiewicz & wife Taylor, Gina Mickiewicz, Jamie Mickiewicz, Philip Weiss, Kurt Weiss, Jeffrey Gosselin & wife Megan, Deena Hartman-Gross, Winnie Hartman-Gross, Daniel Hartman & wife Meaghan, Andrew Hartman & wife Jada, Thomas Hartman & wife Cindy, Stacie Hartman, and Sarah Hartman, great-grandchildren, Blake Gosselin, Ava Gosselin, Gabriel Hartman, and Anne Hartman, brothers, Thomas Hartman & wife Mary Ann, and Clifford Hartman, brother-in-law, Robert Israel, and his nieces & nephews from Long Island, NY.
All are invited toa 10 a.m.memorial Masson Saturday, December 21, 2024at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church,123 Williams Street in Springfield. Tonys burial, with military honors, was held privately at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
