Russell Lee Small, 64, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 7:00 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2025, at his home. He was born on December 31, 1960, in Marion, Indiana, to Ferris and Bonnie (Camper) Small.
Russell worked and retired in construction, and he also farmed. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors. He collected antique glass and liked going to auctions.
He is survived by three children, Wayne (Candi) Small of Rochester, Indiana, Nick (Lesley) Small of Leiters Ford, Indiana, and Renee (Josh) LaRue, of Mentone, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Bailey Small, Brianna Small, Cami Small, Abby Small, Taylor Estepp, Hayden LaRue, Brooklyn LaRue, Loretta LaRue, and Virginia LaRue; great-granddaughter, Delilah Small, and siblings, Perry (Beverly) Small of La Fontaine, Indiana, Roger (Debbie) Small of Warren, Indiana, Kyle (Dawn) Small of La Fontaine, Indiana, and Patlyn (Ken) Tieman of Roanoke, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rhonda Smith, and friend, Sue Neeley.
Per Russell's request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
