Ruth was one of the first people to welcome our family to the neighborhood. We have fond memories of Ruth standing at the bus stop waiting with us for the school bus, as we got caught up chatting. Before both the Thompsons and our trees grew taller, I recall seeing Ruth in her yard, tending to flowers, etc., and, of course, she loved the pool area. Ruth was a kind woman with an easy laugh, and her generosity to our family was endless. Frequently, we'd find that Ruth had driven up our driveway in her car, with a little gift of some sort. Michael and Emily grew up with her. We will all miss her. Love, Ken, Bev, Michael and Emily Beirne
