Ruth A. (Bryan) Bryan, a longtime resident of Medford, passed away at her home on Wednesday afternoon, June 25, 2025. She was 76 years old.
Born in Medford, Massachusetts, on April 18, 1949, she was the beloved daughter of the late William F. and Helen T. (Murphy) Bryan.
Ruth was a retired Registered Nurse and had been employed by the Boston Medical Center for many years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling and hosting her many parties. When she was young, she backpacked through Europe. She also loved visiting the Cape. Ruth was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph Church in Medford. Ruth loved visiting WOODSTOCK, went on a once in a life time trip, with 4 other Boston Medical Center nurses, on a private yacht cruising the islands of the Bahama's, not visited by the public. She also took numerous trips to Ireland. She will be dearly missed.
Ruth is survived by her loving brothers; William F. and his wife Sharon Bryan of Hampton, New Hampshire and Francis X. and his wife Cheryl A. Bryan of Hampton, New Hampshire, nieces and nephews; Denise, Michael, Lorna, Bill and Charissa and lifelong best friend; Kathleen Sullivan of Marshfield. She was also the sister of the late Michael J. Bryan and Jeanne Bryan.
Funeral services will be held at a later date. Donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the Kennedy Day School, 30 Warren Street, Boston, MA 02134 or to the Julie's Family Learning Center, 133 Dorchester Street, South Boston, MA 02127.
