Ruth Ann Reynolds Hardwick, 82, of Danville passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Born December 22, 1943, in Washington County, she was the youngest child of the late Robert Reynolds and Rozelle Padgett Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband and high school sweetheart, Ronnie Hardwick and brothers, Ruel and Bobby Reynolds.

Ruth Ann was raised in a Christian home. She attended Beech Grove Baptist Church in Washington County where she was very active as a teenager. She was a 1961 graduate of Springfield High School and of Business School in Louisville. She loved to play golf and watch UK basketball. She and her husband, Ronnie, were active in the FLW Fishing Tournaments.

Ruth Ann is survived by her daughter, Angie (Michael) Ford of Shelbyville; son, Clay Hardwick of Frankfort; sister, Brenda Bash of Danville; and granddaughter, Grace Ford.

Visitation is 12-2 pm, Saturday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm with Rev. Timothy Mathis officiating. A private burial will be at Bellevue Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are the members of her BFG Sunday School Class at Ashland Baptist Church in Danville where she was a member.
