Baue Funeral Home - O'FallonRuth Alice Hasse-Ellsworth (nee Fleming), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Clyde Ellsworth; cherished daughter of the daughter of the late Eleanor and Robert Fleming; devoted mother of Pat Politte, Bill (Debra) Hasse, Kitty DeLuca, Marge (Wayne) Pickett, Tina Hays, John (Jackie) Hasse; loving grandmother of 19, great-grandmother of 32, and great-great grandmother of 1; dear sister of Pat (Bud) Koeing.
Ruth loved music, especially country, and enjoyed playing Bingo whether she won or not. She cherished having all her children together and often bragged about the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. A devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan and talented dancer, she was well known as a Sterling Rockette, never missing a show. In her younger years, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Ruth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Ruth's name to Mount Carmel Senior Living.
