CARTHAGE- Ruth “Ruthie” Molnar, 71, formerly of State Street died peacefully on Friday morning, August 16, 2024, at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home in Watertown, NY. She was born on September 3, 1952, in Carthage, NY to the late Paul & Geraldine (Sherman) Perfetto. She graduated from Carthage High School. Ruth worked for Carthage Head Start as an aide.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 2:30 pm in the Sandhill Cemetery in Natural Bridge, NY. The marriage ended in divorce to John N. Molnar. Mr. Molnar died on November 8, 2015. Ruthie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Yolanda Calamusa, and husband, Donald, Glen Park N.Y.; her sons, Sean Molnar Watertown N.Y.; John Paul Molnar, Lowville N.Y; and her grandchildren, Jordan Collins Carthage N.Y., Shaylee Collins Watertown N.Y. Taja Collins Glen Park N.Y., Tazanna Molnar, John Paul Molnar Jr., Carson Molnar, of Port Lyden NY Destiny Molnar, Watertown N.Y; Her siblings, are Paulette Bray, Geraldine Perfetto, Carol Ann Goldthrite, and Laurie Miner. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and an infant son John {John John} Molnar.
