Ruth Urgo Obituary
Born Sunday, January 29, 1950 in Paterson, New Jersey, Ruth was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Tuohey.
Ruth began her childhood in Paterson, but her family settled in Totowa when she was 8 years old. Growing up in Totowa, Ruth was a graduate of St. John's High School.
Ruth lived in Little Falls for sometime before moving to Toms. River. While living in Toms River Ruth worked at BJ's Wholesale as a Human Resources Manager. Last year Ruth moved to Matawan to be closer to her family.
Ruth enjoyed crocheting, and watching QVC. Ruth enjoyed taking trips to Seaside Heights, and walking on the beach. Ruth was a caring woman who will be missed by all those that love her.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Meghin Placko and her husband Mike, by her son Pete Orsita and his wife Lisa, by her brother Joseph Tuohey, by her grandsons Vincent and Giovanni Orsita, and by her 3 grand puppies.
A Memorial Gathering will take place between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals & Cremation Services Inc. located at 111 Main Street Matawan, New Jersey 07747.
