Ruth L. Zenzer, a cherished resident of Poughquag, NY, since 2016 and previously from Middletown, NY, where she spent nearly 40 years, passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 81.

Born on April 18, 1944, in Jersey City, NJ, she was the beloved daughter of the late Irving and Ruth (Simonet) Zimmerly.

She dedicated many years of her life to the Pine Bush School District, working in the cafeteria until her retirement in 2016.

Ruth Zenzer was preceded in death by her beloved husband, who passed away in 2005, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Ruth found joy in drawing and coloring with her grandchildren, and she avidly cheered them on during their hockey games. Her unwavering support for veterans was a testament to her generous spirit.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Nicolle, and her husband, Jeff Palladino; her grandchildren, Alex and Anthony Palladino; her sister, Bettylou Novak, and her husband, Scott; and her beloved grand-dog, Luna.
