With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ryan P. Bashaw, who left us on January 13, 2025, in Upland, CA, just four minutes shy of his 32nd birthday. Ryan was born on January 14, 1993, in San Jose, CA, and grew up surrounded by the love and warmth of family and friends in the San Francisco Bay Area. A constant presence at family gatherings, Ryan was often found in the kitchen, contributing his talent and passion for cooking to create memorable meals. Ryan had an extraordinary gift for bringing people together through his joy, humor, and creativity. He loved playing Pokémon, family game nights, cooking, and sharing hearty laughter that could light up any room. A true artist at heart, he expressed his creativity in many ways, always leaving a personal touch in everything he did. His adventurous spirit drew him to amusement parks and travel, with a special fondness for Canada, where he created cherished memories. Ryan leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him close in their hearts, including his brother, two mothers, stepmother, beloved uncle and aunts, nieces, and numerous cousins and extended family members. While our hearts ache at his absence, we find solace in the joy and love Ryan brought into our lives. His smile and laughter will live on in our memories, a beacon of light to guide us through our sorrow. A celebration of Ryan's life will be announced at a later date. In his honor, we invite all who knew him to share stories, laughter, and love as we remember a truly remarkable person.
