Ryan Michael Foxworthy

Ryan Michael Foxworthy, age 43 of Jacksonville Florida passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Hospital. He was born on September 14, 1977 in Washington, D.C. to his mother Gail Foxworthy and father Tom Foxworthy. Ryan had an extensive schooling career starting off with receiving his Bachelor's of Science from Old Dominion University and became a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. Ryan had a Master's degree in Education from the University of Delaware. After graduating, Ryan's first position was Assistant to the Dean of Students at Johns Hopkins University. Ryan continued on to a successful career in Higher Education specializing in Cyber Network Securities. He was always earning certificates and certifications in his field of IT. In his spare time, Ryan was a gamer through and through. He played video games, War Hammer, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic cards. No matter what game it was he loved it all, it was his passion. He owned his own Gaming Store while living in Nebraska, "The Troll's Den". He was also an avid fan of Star Wars.
He is survived by his parents: Gail Foxworthy of Asheville, North Carolina and Father Tom Foxworthy of Folsom, California, sister: Kelly Sifrit of Fletcher, North Carolina; a nephew & niece: Christian and Mackenzie Sifrit; cousins: Jeffery Beaudry and Lara Byer, as well as other extended family members.
Final memorialization will be by cremation and the virtual memorial service is being planned for September 14th.
