Rylee Pellerin Obituary

Rylee, a beloved member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, was baptized in Christ and cherished attending CCD classes. She adored her brother, sister, and family, especially Sunday lunches at Honey and Popa's with her cousins. A spunky, joyful firecracker, Rylee loved making others laugh with silly faces, dancing, tumbling, dress-up, and pageants. A student at Kinder Elementary School, she was honored as the 2023 St. Jude Sweetheart Queen and the 2024/2025 Catholic Daughters of America Kid of the Year, reflecting her kind heart and inspiring spirit.
Rylee is survived by her loving parents; Brandon and Shelby Kowarsch Pellerin, her devoted siblings; Brently Pellerin and Reagan Pellerin, her grandparents; Kevin Pellerin, and Dennis and Merella Kowarsch, her great-grandfather; James C. Pellerin, her big puppy brother; Gunner and a great host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Rylee is preceded in death by her grandmother; Floyce "Sissy" Pellerin, great-grandparents; Dorthy Pellerin, L.A. and Marguerite Little, and Joe and Lavina Kowarsch, her great aunt; Carla Kowarsch McCormick, and her great uncle; Butch Kowarsch.
Rylee will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 9th, 2025 from 5:00 - 8:30 p.m., a Vigil will begin at 6:00 p.m., with the Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m., in the Reed Chapel at Riley Smith & Sons, 315 N. 14th. Street, Kinder, Louisiana. Visitation will continue Friday, October 10th, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. at Riley Smith & Sons. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 607 4th Avenue Kinder, Louisiana. Mass of Christian Burial by Father Keith Pellerin, Father Alan Trouille, and Visiting Priests.
Interment will follow at Green Oaks Cemetery Kinder, Louisiana.
