Bagwell, Sally M. (Rivers) of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma was born on April 25, 1929, to B.H. and Leona (King) Rivers in Nashville, Arkansas.
She went to high school in Hugo, Oklahoma. Sally studied at Draughn's Business School in Amarillo, Texas for an education in accounting. She went to work for Armstrong Transfer and Storage Co. as a billing clerk. Sally met R.O. (Bob) Bagwell in 1963, and they married. She was employed at Scrivener's as an accounting clerk for 28 years. Retiring in 1995. Sally was a member of Nicoma Park Eastern Star since 1974. She was a very active member of First Baptists Church, Nicoma Park, singing in both the Cornerstone Choir and the Praise Singers. She kept Sunday School records for the Children's Sunday School department. Sally also had her own Birthday ministry, calling all church members on their birthday. She volunteered at Midwest Regional Hospital starting in 2006.
Sally was Preceded in death by her parents, husband R.O. (Bob) Bagwell and stepson Bob Bagwell. She is survived by her children David Bagwell and wife Patty of Meeker, Oklahoma; Steven Bagwell of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Bennett Boarts and wife Karla, Stepdaughter Marsha Shatswell of Moore, OK, nine grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
