Sally (Stilp) Kessler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 14, 2025. She was pre-deceased by her devoted husband, John Kessler.
Sally was the cherished mother of J. Stephen (Jean) Kessler, Jean (Ernie) Legge, William (Beverly) Kessler, and Thomas (Michele) Kessler. She was pre-deceased by her children, Rosanne Taylor and David Kessler, as well as her parents, Irving and Charlotte Stilp, and her brothers, Thomas Stilp and Donald Stilp.
She is lovingly remembered by her 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, whose presence and pictures brought her joy.
Born and raised in Neenah, Wisconsin, Sally moved with her family to Connecticut to support John's career. There, she embraced the challenge of raising six children and found joy in coffee chats with friends. As John's retirement approached, they returned to the Neenah area, where they cherished their remaining years together.
Sally was a dedicated housewife, managing her household with grace and love. She had a special fondness for cardinals, often finding comfort and inspiration in their presence.
The Funeral Service for Sally will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Kessler Fahrenkrug Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, Wisconsin 54956. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the hour of the Service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in St. Margaret Cemetery in Neenah.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Dimensions Living Appleton for their exceptional care over the past decade. Special gratitude also goes to those from Moments Hospice who provided solace and comfort as Sally moved towards her desire of rejoining John. And to Jeff, Pam, Tammy, Amy, and all others at Four Seasons Restaurant, thank you for being so kind and gracious to both Sally and John over their many years of enjoying lunch with you.
Sally's legacy of love, dedication, and warmth will be cherished by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
