I first met Sal when I worked at WKBS-TV and he was my Firestone contact. Later we became friends and when he got divorced he moved in with my at my apartment in Parkway Village at 23rd and Green. I'm sorry I didn't know of his passing. Diane used to keep contact with me and now that I know she died first I can understand why I wasn't told. R.I.P. roomie.

My sincere condolences to all of the family and everyone Sal touched. Sal and my father Frank Sr. were very close. They worked together at Bridgestone/Firestone and were very close friends well after that. For life you could say. My brother, sister and I are not related to Sal or Diana, but we have only ever known them as "Uncle" and "Aunt." Sal will be missed by many.
