SAM BAILEY Obituary
Sam Bailey III, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the age of 62. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Sam was a graduate of West Jefferson High School (Class of 1981) and Eastern Kentucky University (Class of 1985). He was employed in a variety of industries and positions during his 40-year career. Proud father of Sam IV and Samreail Bailey. Doting grandfather of Sam V, Marc, Imanie and Avery. Son of the late Sam Bailey, Jr. and Willie Dean Chess Bailey. Loving brother of Vanessa Bailey King, LaToya Bailey (Michael, Sr.) Williams, Michael (Rachelle) Foley, and the late Bernard Foley. Sam is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Carissa Venue, 111-B Wright Ave. Terrytown, LA on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 3:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA.
