Samantha Anne Davis, age 37, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2023, at her home.
Samantha was born April 24, 1986, in Athens, Ohio to Duane Brian Davis and Angel Freer. Samantha was a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliary. She loved the outdoors and sports and was active in Narcotics Anonymous support. She loved spending her time helping others.
Surviving are her husband, Alex A. Davis; children, Cassandra Christine Davis, Jayden Davis, Brooklynn Davis, and Aurther Robinson Jr.; parents, Angel Freer and Brian (Karen) Davis; step father, Curtis Pancake; mother-in-law, Christine (Billy) McCoy; beloved grandparents, Billy Ann Pierce and Roger Rhoads; brothers, Dallas Snider and Brandon Davis; sisters, Leslie Decker, Darcy Stanley, Nikki Davis, Samantha Silverman, and Cassie Stachurski; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and special friends, Stacey Leeper, Charity Rutter, Nicona (Jo) Bright, Philip Traugh, Chelsey Monsterr, and many others.
Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jeff Freer, Paul Davis, Sue Davis, and Jimmy Pierce.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Friday November 17, 2023, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Daniel Adkins officiating. Burial followed at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Friday November 17, 2023, at the funeral home prior to the service.
