Recently I had a warm remembrance of my old work friend Sumar. I sadly learned he passed. Sumar and I worked together at Abbott Laboratories. On one particular occasion, we traveled together by air to Indianapolis. Our flight was delayed and we decided to rent a car and drive back. I had traveled I-65 many times, and knew traffic could fly, 75-80 MPH was normal. Sumar drove, and I soon learned he was a man who obeyed the law and posted legal limits. And though I insisted that I drive, Sumar generously drove us the whole way home. It was one of the longest, and most pleasurable afternoons I have ever spent.
God Bless, Sumar.
