Samia L. Schrom passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born Saturday, October 3, 1936, in Indiana, to Forest Armington and Dorothy Peterson Armington.
Samia was a proud graduate of Plymouth High School in the class of 1954. In November of 1956, she married Dale Schrom, and together they shared 63 years of marriage and raised two daughters in the home she grew up in. She dedicated her life to being a homemaker as well as a self-employed seamstress. Samia worked many years at Treat's Bridal Shop and was meticulous with her skills in wedding dress alterations.
She lived for 80 years in Plymouth, Indiana before moving to Hartselle in 2017, where she enjoyed getting to know some new friends, sewing, doing puzzles, bird watching, and taking care of her cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband- Dale, and a brother- James Armington.
Family wishes to express "Special Thanks" to loving caregivers who became like family: Janice G., Debbie, Monica, Angie, Pat, and Janice M.
Survivors include her Daughters - Christina Hulse (Ron), of Hartselle, AL and Sheila Alexander (Paul), of McKinney, TX, her Grandchildren - Jordan Alexander and Grant Alexander both of McKinney, Texas, Marie McCleskey (Heath), Melissa Ward (Kris), Kristen Rooks (Lee), and Brandon Hulse (Hannah) all of Hartselle, AL and Twelve Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Johnson- Danielson Funeral Home in Plymouth, Indiana, on Saturday, June 28th, 2025.
