Sam will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew him. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Joshua (Dr. Jacqueline) Carter, Chandler, AZ; three Sisters: Rachel Brown, White Sands Missile Base in New Mexico, Tracy (Mike) Fosler, Piqua, OH; and Erin (Andy) Taylor, Troy, OH.
Samuel was a 2012 graduate of Sidney High School. He attended Edison Community College in the post-secondary program and then attended The Ohio State University for two years. He loved to read and greatly enjoyed the outdoors and would spend time fishing and hiking.
A Celebration of Sam's Life will be held at 6:00 PM. on Wednesday April 30, 2025, at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Stremmel officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made in honor of Sam to: Piqua Bethany Center 339 South St, Piqua, OH 45356
