Samuel Robert Rosenberg

Samuel Robert Rosenberg, 34, of Manalapan, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025. Samuel was born in Santa Rosa, California, to Robert and Laura Rosenberg on September 21, 1990. Sam and his family moved to New Jersey in 1997. After graduating from Howell High School in 2008, he went on to study audio engineering and built a career as a sound engineer and DJ in New York City.
As his life continued, Sam found himself living closer to home in Levittown, Pennsylvania, where he graduated from Rowan College at Burlington County with an Associate of Science degree. There, he made wonderful friends and incredible memories. In 2018, Sam met Mary Benedict while living in Pennsylvania, and they later decided to move to New Jersey to be closer to his family and start a beautiful life together. While living in New Jersey, Sam was employed as an Electronic Data Interchange Coordinator for SHI International, where he specialized in vendor purchasing and customer procurement.
In his spare time, he could often be found enjoying music, installing smart home devices, golfing with his brother, playing with his nephews, spending time with his beloved friend Umar and his daughter Sofiyah, snowboarding, helping his parents in their garden, and taking his dog to the park to play with friends. In 2024, Sam proposed to Mary in their hotel room in Niagara Falls, watching a magnificent firework show from the highest floor of the building. Sam always helped those around him and shined his positive light, sharing his beautiful mind with all of his beloved friends and family. He truly knew how to bring everyone together.
Samuel is survived by his parents, Robert and Laura Rosenberg; his brother, Benjamin Rosenberg; his sister-in-law, Melissa; nephews, George and Jacob; and his fiancée, Mary Benedict.
