Samuel "Wayne" Woolbright

Samuel Wayne Woolbright, age 55, of Sulligent, AL, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, January 5, 2026 . Graveside services and burial will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 3:00pm in the Taylor Springs Cemetery. Ms. Michelle Force to officiate services. Visitation will be held at the family residence on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 4:00pm, located at 4036 Hwy 278, Sulligent, AL.

Wayne was born on August 6, 1970 in Vernon, AL to the late Samuel Clester Woolbright and the late Katherine Ann Hood Woolbright. He attended Lamar County High School. Wayne was a self-employed logger and a collector of many different items. He spent the last 35 years married to his soulmate and best friend, Tammy Woolbright. Wayne was a man of many talents, but his favorite title was Pawpaw. He was a Husband, Father, Uncle, Cousin, or Friend to everyone. He was the type of person to give a stranger the shirt off of his back. He will never be forgotten and forever missed.
