A daughter of Shirley Hardesty Mapes of Carrollton and the late Frank D. Mapes, she was born July 20, 1957 in Canton, Ohio.
For several years Sandy was employed by Betty Kaye Bakery.
She is survived by Cassandra Smith and Sabrina (Jeremy Sproull) Durbin; five grandchildren, Ellis Durbin, Makenzie Sproull, Jozlynn Smith, Jocelynn Burkhart, Dallas Sproull; a brother, Doug (Peggy) Mapes; and a sister, Cindy Mapes.
Along with her father she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Keith, in 2020.
No services will be held at this time.
