Sandra Lee "Sandy" Homer

Sandra "Sandy" Homer passed away on August 16, 2025 in Salem, Oregon. Sandy was born on November 13, 1942 in Anaconda, MT. She and her mother, Helene, later moved to California where she attended Hayward High School. Her graduating class of 1960 was one of the last graduating classes of the original Hayward High School.

Sandy married Dwane Harrelson in 1961 and they had three daughters. Tami Gilmore, Terri Matulovich and Traci Billingsley. Sandy married her husband Vincent Homer on November 29, 1981. They were married for 43 years.

Sandy loved water skiing, baseball and traveling the world with her husband Vince. She and her husband visited and lived in multiple countries before settling in Independence, OR in 2013. Sandy was also an avid reader and loved playing bridge with her friends.

She is survived by her husband Vince, her daughters Tami Gilmore, Terri Matulovich (Mark) and Traci Billingsley, her father Donald Rogers, brother Kevin Rogers (Twyla) and sister Cindy Linden (Tom). She is survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Glen Oaks Memorial Park in Chico, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Hospice or charity of choice.
