Sandra Kane

Sandra (Moore) Kane of South Yarmouth (Formerly of Roslindale) passed away on November 13th surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Sandy was born on April 25th, 1967, in Norwood Massachusetts to Carolyn (Ayan) and the late Harvey Moore.

Sandy was the devoted loving wife for 35 years to her husband Jack. Mother of Matthew and his wife Tyne of S. Yarmouth. Joshua and his wife Emily of Truro and Timothy of S. Yarmouth. Also survived by her mother Carolyn of S. Yarmouth, cherished grandmother (Mimi) of Johnny Kane and many nieces and nephews.

Sandy graduated from Hyde Park Academy and Suffolk University. While in high school, she met her future husband Jack and they were married in 1990. Soon after they moved to the Cape and started a family.

For many years Sandy worked in the Cafeteria for the D.Y. School system and recently retired as the kitchen manager for the Ezra Baker School in Dennis.

For many years she volunteered for the Yarmouth Little League with ordering the uniforms, taking care of the snack bar and being the team mom (Mrs. Coach Kane). She had a love for crafting, cross stitching and baking, especially her famous brownies and Christmas cookies.

She loved to go to Race Point on the weekend and stay with the light house keepers with her family. Also spending her summers "upta" camp in N.H. entertaining her family and close friends.

Family meant everything to Sandy and she will be truly missed.

A wake will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4pm - 7pm at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, Morris O'Connor Chapel, 58 Long Pond Dr. South Yarmouth. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery, Yarmouthport.
