Sandra K. Kaufman, 62, of Nappanee, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Goshen Hospital. Born on December 14, 1963, in Goshen, she was the daughter of Richard and Virginia (Schroeder) Wysong. On March 6, 2004, she married Worthie Haney in New Paris.
Her survivors include her husband, Worthie Haney; three children—Cassandra Jackson, Adam (Brittany) Kauffman, and Michael Kaufman, all of Nappanee; four grandchildren—Jacob and Evelyn Jackson, and Kayden and Keegan Kaufman; her sister, Judy (Michael) Stull of Goshen; and her brother, David (Karen) Wysong of Syracuse.
A proud graduate of NorthWood High School, Sandra was recognized for her strong work ethic and adaptability. She dedicated many years to Masterbrand Cabinets (formerly Homecrest), where she held various roles across multiple departments, demonstrating her resourcefulness and commitment.
Those who knew Sandra appreciated her witty sense of humor and her ability to find humor in most situations. In the past she enjoyed marathon Monopoly games with her nieces and taught them to swim using the memorable “sink or swim” method, which they still talk about today. An avid reader and recent fan of cooking shows, Sandra also loved various kinds of firework displays despite others’ concerns, living life on her own terms.
Her love and care extended deeply to her family—her husband, children, and grandchildren. In her final years, she bravely fought cancer with determination. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
