Sandra Ann Kowalczyk

Sandra Ann Kowalczyk, 77, of White Mills, died on Sunday, July 20, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred L. Kowalczyk on June 13, 1996.

Born on September 24, 1947 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Anna M. (Brown) Tarbox. Before recently becoming ill, Sandy was the gift shop manager at Woodloch Pines.

A connoisseur of local history, Sandra collect many historical objects. She was also a wealth of knowledge when it came to local history. An active member of the community, she was a member of the White Mills United Methodist Church and the White Mills Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving is her son, Eric Kowalczyk and Holly Weist of White Mills; her daughter, Jennifer Murray of Honesdale; her granddaughter, Rowan Murray; great granddaughter, Palmer Sandra Bibalo. She is also survived by her cousin, Gary Brown and several other cousins.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements by Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale.
