Sandra Kreger

Sandra passed away on January 25th, 2026 at the age of 69. Sandra was born on October 14, 1956 to Angeline and Walter Kreger Jr. and was the youngest of three siblings, brother Dennis and sister Debra. Sandra grew up in Sandy, Utah where she attended Jordan High School. She lived her life in the name of her family, love, self-reflection, acts of kindness, and she sought strength and refuge in God. Sandra was a survivor and conquered many hardships in life. She believed strongly in placing her faith and all the pieces of her heart in God. After fourteen years of trying to have a child, at the age of 36, a butterfly landed on her hip as she stood on a bridge overlooking the waters of Oregon, and she soon became pregnant with her daughter, Alyxandra Kreger.

Sandra enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She had a deep love and respect for her grandparents, especially her grandmother, Iona. She was an Esteemed Lecturing Knight of the Cottonwood Elks Lodge 2344 (2011-2012) and a formal member of two chapters of the Red Hat Society, where her friends would meet for monthly dinners, play bunko, as well as get together for other fun activities.

Her heart always longed for the beautiful landscape of Oregon. For a time, she lived in Medford, and she would reverently refer to Oregon as "God's country". Sandra also enjoyed travelling. Her favorite vacation place of all time was Kauai, Hawaii. She loved all things Christmas, capturing memories, and every last moment she persevered was for her beautiful grandchildren.

When she was younger, she enjoyed Jazzercize, and driving her Berlinetta Camaro down the coast, with the t-tops off, blaring her 80s music. She was very fashionable, always having her accessories match her clothes, and for a time, she worked as a display manager for Mervyn's. She retired from 21 years of service for the Questar Gas company where she was a GIS Pipeline Drafter, implementing services and mains for up and coming cities.

Sandra's memory is preserved and lives on through her daughter, Alyxandra (Alberto), her three grandchildren, Isaac, Dorian, and Evelyn, and the man she waited her whole life for, Jesus. An honorable mention is also deserving for her sister-in-law, Sherry, for whom without her unwavering love and support, our loss would have felt unimaginable.

We love you mom and you will forever remain in our hearts. Your absence is like the sky, spread over everything. I feel like you know and understand this and are at peace now. We love you mom, to the moon and back.
