Sandy Landers, 85, of Bellaire, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9. 2025 surrounded by her husband, daughters, family, and close friends by her side.
She was born on December 11, 1939 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Rudy Mokros.
Sandy found her happiest moments were spending time with her husband, Dick of 66 years, her children, grandchildren, and her extended families and going to church. Many friends and family were privileged to spend time at her house, enjoying pool parties and many family reunions.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her wonderful grandparents, Frank and Johanna Mokros, and brother, Rudy Mokros.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 66 years, Dick Landers, children, Dee Ann (Ron) Marling, Rich (Vickie) Landers, Jennifer Landers, grandchildren, Heather (Eric) Milovac, Lacy Landers, Zack Landers, sister, Joyce (Mokros) Funk, brother, Wendell Mokros, and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Mokros and Sandy Tustin, and her special nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sandy was truly a blessing to everyone who knew her and a mother figure to so many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are to be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 12:00pm until time of service at 5:00pm with Logan Lish officiating.
