Arrond A Scott, age 91, of Shadyside, went to Heaven to be with his wife, Margie and son Ernie Scott on August 24,2025. He passed peacefully and was surrounded by loved ones. A devoted family man, he lived a full and joyful life marked by kindness, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures.

Born on October 5, 1933, Arrond spent his life building a legacy of love, laughter, and service to others. He retired from Ormet and also served in many organizations.

He recently loved getting reacquainted with his grandchildren and falling in love with his great grandchildren. Arronds best days were spent watching the garden bloom and eating tomatoes, sharing stories from his younger days, or offering a listening ear. He made everyone feel at home in his presence.

One of the highlights of his final year was his 91st birthday, when he was deeply touched by the outpouring of love from the Shadyside community. Overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, he received hundreds of cards from friends, neighbors, and even strangers-each one a reminder of how many lives he had touched with his warmth and generosity.

He will be missed more than words can say.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 27th from 12-2 with a service following at 2:00.

Sympathy cards may be sent directly to the family at 203 N. Livingston Ave., Lancaster, OH 43130
