Sandra Kay "Sandy" Massie

Sandra "Sandy" Kay Massie, 61, of Fayetteville, WV, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Bowers Hospice House. Sandy was born on May 12, 1962, in Beckley, WV, to the late Goldie Day and Porter Day.
Sandy was a home health aide at the Central WV Commission on Aging. She was a member of Salem Road Freewill Baptist Church before she became ill.
In addition to her parents, Sandy is preceded in death by her son Austin Massie, and cousin Jerry Patrick.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 39 years Bruce Massie, children Casey Massie, Curtis Massie (Lindsey), Cheyenne Clyburn (Jace), Michael Patrick (Erica), and Stephanie Treadway (Larry), sisters Christy Aliff, and Tina Burnside (Holly), grandchildren Skylar Clyburn, Landon Massie, Lacey Massie, Jaxon Massie, Penelope Massie, Connor Massie, Trysta, and Ellie, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. In keeping with Sandy's wishes she will be cremated following the visitation.
