Lathan Funeral Home - JacksonIt is with both heavy hearts and warm memories that we celebrate the life of Sandra Meadows Middleton, who left us peacefully on October 3, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on August 5, 1949, Sandra called Mc Intosh, Alabama, her home. She was a shining light in the lives of many, known for her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love.
Sandra dedicated 40 years of her life to Ciba-Geigy- Huntsman, where she started her career in 1974. Her work ethic, determination, and passion for her job set a remarkable example for her colleagues and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She believed in the importance of community and always lent a helping hand to those in need.
Above all, Sandra was a devoted mother and a cherished grandmother, lovingly known as Grammy to her beloved grandchildren. Her heart was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and countless cherished moments shared with family. Whether it was baking her famous Georgia cornbread cake, playing games, or simply sharing stories, she created a nurturing environment that will forever echo in their hearts.
Sandra's life was a mosaic of rich experiences and affectionate connections. As we reflect on her journey, we remember the laughter that filled her home and the lessons of compassion and resilience that she imparted to her loved ones. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, as we carry her memory in our hearts.
Sandra is predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Nellie Ruth (Marsh) Meadows; sisters, Kathryn Meadows Baxter and Stacey Lynn Baxter Carpenter; brother, Jerry Wayne Meadows; granddaughter, Ashley Ann Murphy.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Terry Middleton; daughters, Brooke (Zachariah) Crosier and Christina (Ben) Garland; son, Bryan Middleton; grandchildren, Hunter Garland, Tyler Brooks, Owen Crosier, Weston Garland, and Kaleb Crosier; and sister Wanda Meadows Hudson.
Memorial services will be held in her honor, where family and friends will gather to share stories and celebrate her life on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom, Alabama. Interment will follow the service at Fairhope Baptist Church in Tibbie, Alabama. Bro. Aaron Williams will be officiating. We invite all who knew and loved Sandra to join us as we pay tribute to a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.
In honoring Sandra Middleton, we embrace the joy she brought into our lives and the legacy of love she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered.
