Sandra "Sandy" Fern Mielke, age 79, of Black Creek, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, May 31, 2025. She was born on November 25, 1945, in Shawano to the late Robert and Verna (Herm) Bahr. She graduated from Bonduel High School in 1963. She grew up on the family farm where her hard work ethic was engrained in her. On October 10, 1964, she was united in marriage to the love of her life Lyle H. Mielke at Immanuel Lutheran White Clay Lake Church in Cecil. They were together for a wonderful 43 years before his passing. The two enjoyed traveling to many states, and every trip was an adventure. After Lyle's passing Sandy lived a quiet life. Her favorite pastime was her lawn care and yard work. For hours she would spend her time tending to her flowers and making sure her yard looked pristine. Sandy dedicated her time to lawn mowing from 1972 and did so happily until 2024. She was a woman that was full of life and always kept busy. Sandy's age never deterred her from staying active, looking her best, and providing for her family whom she loved dearly. She will be deeply missed.
Sandra is survived by: her two sons, Mike (Peggy) Mielke, of Black Creek, and Brad (fiancé Andriea) Mielke, of Clintonville; her grandson, Brandon (fiancé Sara) Armatoski; her brother, Bobby Bahr; special niece and nephew, Lisa Fortun and Mark Sperberg. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her husband Lyle; her infant daughter Dawn; her parents Robert and Verna; her brother Maynard Bahr; her sister Sharon (Ron) Sperberg; Lyle's parents Louie and Beatrice Mielke; her sister-in-law, Carla (Roger) Piehl.
In keeping with Sandy's wishes, private services were held.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Meadow Wood Nursing Home staff, especially Belinda and Michelle, and Ben from Theda Care Hospice for their extended care of Sandy.
