Awww. Sandra truly left her mark here and is perfect at home with God not gone, never forgotten, and will be with God waiting for her others. She was a co-worker of my grandmothers at county for the entire term there, until it closed where they both went on as caretaking, helping. (Edna Elizabeth Smith). I heard so many stories from my time taking care of my gram until she went home June 2017. My Grammy adored her they had so much fun together and so many trials on duty at county too. Fast forward.. I sought the owner of a little historic, old nurses place, that tiny house on Valley Road and once heard the name I wondered if was the family I knew. I sent mail to her, was contacted back finding out it was, I knew all her children and that she was the famous Sandy my Grammy spoke of as well. We were on the phone only minutes shy of 4 hours that day! A LONG TIME! both laughing, crying, sharing... she had just gotten in from a chemo treatment and feeling sick yet she called and stayed on so long then telling me I helped her through that period making me just cry happy and pray hard. She filled me in on the kids lives, the pets, her granddaughter who lived by her, all the grandchildren .... I grew up with her kids.
I knew someone looking to buy that place and she wasn´t interested in selling. She filled me in on the entire history of it too. Neat. She loved that tiny place. It´s still has the hand pump well in it. How neat. She was going to get stronger and stop by where she would show it to me just for fun.
I can see her valley road place from my place and drive past regular where I was just thinking only 2 weeks back to stop by her and see how she is pulling through. I have far too much going on, and didn´t but kept thinking of her wondering. I´m sad I didn´t get away a moment to know she wasn´t even at home. I´m sad she didn´t get by me as well. She wanted to see the collections of albums from grand life after they last were together. Her favorite of the kids was my pop, I know he´s welcomed her up there too. My hearts so sad I missed a hug and prayer WITH HER in her time of struggle.
I pray someone´s loving her pets I know they are hurting too.
My whole heart to all of you.
Loss here is so difficult for us and sometimes very much struggle to hang on to the FACT of ours that are gone here, are PERFECT home with God. Not really "gone" just moved home and will be together later. She was too good to not be home there. She loved God and we talked of that as well. She lived a very full, very rich life. So much help, love, and Earth size kindness. It´s the real rich stuff no money can duplicate. She wasn´t swallowing no jive either, she was a women of iron spine that loved and spoke what´s right or wrong the entire way, with the same force. None are "perfect" however any rare people that love, give, help, and share as God intended on us being, is as perfect as they come. Many have long forgotten how to be of these qualities.
She´s had to make some very difficult choices severing ties with some that were of great pain, and never stopped praying for, even still. That´s a real solid.
I pray for comfort for all you during the holiday season here, and Im so sorry and choked up to hear.
This tribute to Sandy´s passing to home is so beautifully written I am sending worlds BIGGEST hug to those that made the time to do this perfect tribute to her life. I would be so sad had it of been less. God bless all of you.
I also pray for the one piece missing, that was great trials, and may be a thorn in this time. Passing can bring out the most trying trials for us with others and within family.
I pray for peace, comfort, and understanding.
Much love to all of you and again, God bless the family and friends.
God bless ALL, near and far.
Celebrate Sandy this Thanksgiving and Thank God in prayer of the blessing that is Sandra Nytes.
