Sandra Rowlison Obituary
Sandra Susan Rowlison, 70, of Waterbury, CT, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on July 31, 2025.
Sandra was born on March 27, 1955, to the late Thomas Rowlison and the late Irene Rowlison (Duglenski) of Waterbury. She was a proud graduate of Crosby High School. Sandra's joy came from attending bingo games and creating arts and crafts. She will be remembered for her resilience, inner strength, positive attitude, and deep love of family.
Sandra is survived by her sister and best friend, Cynthia Berardi of Waterbury; her nephew, Mark Berardi, his wife, Heather Carreiro, and their daughter, Mara, of Southington; and her niece and special buddy, Melissa Malagutti, her husband, Jason, and their daughters, Makayla and Madison, of Watertown.
Sandra's family extends special thanks to the entire team at Autumn Lake at Bucks Hill, Trinity Health Hospice Care, and former employees of Watertown Convalarium for their compassionate care.
A private gathering will be held to honor Sandra's life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandra's name to Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, 29 Central Ave., Waterbury, CT 06702. I was a classmate of Sandra at Chase School and spent many Saturdays' at her home. Swimming in the summer or playing school in her basement. Her mom was so sweet as was Sandra. Fond memories. Sad to see she passed
