Sandra Saari Obituary
She was born on September 11, 1944 in Ashtabula to parents Warren and Vida (Lawrence) Kellogg.
A lifelong Ashtabula resident, Sandra graduated from Ashtabula High School Class of 1962. She went on to work at Carlisle's for 30 years, Post Lumber for 12 years, and eventually retired from LARK in 2020. She loved puzzles, games, and watching drag racing. Sandra adored watching her grandchildren through their various sports and life events.
She is survived by her children, David (Denise) Saari, Carl Saari, and Tina (Bill) Buser; and grandchildren, Andrew & Aaron Saari, Kaycee & Miranda Saari, and Cassandra Buser.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Saari in 2009; her parents; and her brother, Warren V. Kellogg in 1966.
Memorials contributions may be made in her name to the Ashtabula Animal Protective League,5970 Green Road, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004
Calling hours will be held at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM. Burial will take place at Saybrook Cemetery.
