Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel - WoosterSandra Laurie (Peck) Seymour, 82, of Wooster, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Brookdale Senior Living in Wooster.
Sandra was born June 26, 1943 in Derby, Connecticut to Laurence E. and Marjorie (Griffiths) Peck, Sr. She married her high school sweetheart William Seymour Jr. on August 4, 1962.
Music was Sandra’s love. She played piano and organ, directed choirs and talent shows, and taught lessons almost her whole life. She particularly loved leading her family in harmony together. Sandra was also a visual artist. She drew, was an excellent seamstress, and was an excellent tole painter.
Sandra worked for the Pepperidge Farm mail order company for 17 years. She was active in the Decorative Artist Society, participated in several service clubs, and supported the American Field Service. She also led a Cub Scout troop, volunteered in churches, and accompanied high school choirs.
Sandra will be deeply missed by her husband; children Laurie Elisabeth (James) Ludwig of Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal, and Pastor William (Allison) Seymour III, of Orrville, OH, grandchildren Amy, Amalie (Alex), Gregory (Chelsea), and Alexander (Erin); brothers Laurence (Liz) Peck Jr. of Wolcott, CT, David Peck of Thomaston, CT; sisters Rev. Marian (James) Shearer of Reading, PA, Nancy (Michael O’Connell) Rogers of Oxford, CT, Margaret Frazine of Thomaston, CT, Marjorie (Douglas) Hughes of Bath, PA, and Holly Peck, of Jacksonville, NC.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 25 at 11:00 am at the Orrville Mennonite Church, in Orrville Ohio, Rev. Kimberly Berenotto, officiating. Online tributes may made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Ohio Masonic community foundation, C/O grand lodge of Ohio, One Masonic Dr., Springfield, OH 45504
