Sandra Jo Sherwood

It is with deepest sorrow, that the Sherwood family announces the passing of Sandra Jo Sherwood, 82, of Laurens, on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Brushy Creek Post Acute.
Sandra was born in Laurens County on April 17, 1943, to the late G. W. & Sara Coates Bolt. Sandra retired from working as a custodian at Laurens District 55 High School. At home she loved to spend time with her cats, listen to her favorite music, and give her opinion on every matter that was discussed.
She is survived by children Kimberly Crow (Steve) and George Sherwood (Julie); grandchildren, Carrie Crow, Stephanie Crow, Natalie Sherwood, Mackenzie Sherwood, Reagan Sherwood, Gavin Sherwood; and great grandchildren, Michelle Dubois, and Mateo Juan.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Barbara Long.
A graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Alex D. Henderson.
Visitation will be held at the cemetery immediately following the service.
