Sandra Sue Siano, born on October 2, 1941, in Dover, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital. She leaves behind a legacy marked by her dedication to her career and her loved ones.
Sandra worked as a real estate agent beginning her long career with Weidel Realtors. After a short time with Weidel she then moved to Weichert Realtors in the Flemington office for 35 years. Over the span of her real estate career she also held many part time jobs including working for Hunterdon Medical Center as a phone operator. Sandra also worked several years for Kingwood Township as the 911 coordinator, dog licensing agent and recycling coordinator. Her colleagues and clients remember her as a compassionate and hardworking professional, always striving to help others.
Sandra also enjoyed traveling the world and visiting new places. Her love for travel was sparked by the many trips she took to the midwest with her family as a young girl. She returned as often as she could to visit friends in Germany, Switzerland and Italy. She was always ready to jump in the plane or car at a moments notice for her next adventure.
When she wasn't planning her next trip she maintained a 100 acre farm and airstrip. Here she hosted many parties and get togethers over the years. She never hesitated to generously loan the hangar or porch to any friends or family who needed a place to hold a special event.
She was an active member in the International / New Jersey Flying Farmers and multiple farming organizations.
When she had the time you would find her working happily in her garden or with her potted plants. Her favorite spot on the farm though was sitting on the back porch on her swing. Here she could hold chats endlessly swinging gently back and forth with friends and family or whoever happened to stop by.
She is survived by her two sons, Tadd Alan Siano and Erik Kyle Siano, who carry forward the values she instilled in them throughout her life.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Willard Earl Leggett; her mother, Eunice Irene Leatherman; her son Troy S. Siano; and her sister, Sherry Lou Rieger. They remain cherished in her memory, and the bonds of family continue to resonate through the stories and experiences shared among her surviving relatives.
For those who wish to pay their respects, a visitation will be held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, located at 147 Main St, Flemington, NJ 08822, on June 26, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Sandra Sue Siano's spirit and dedication to her family and profession will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
