Sandra Wilson Stewart, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. Sandra was born in Forrest City, Arkansas, to the late Effie Jones Wilson and Jessie Wilson. She was nurtured in a household grounded in faith and family values. Sandra was raised in a Christian home and was baptized at an early age at Madison Light Missionary Baptist Church. As her faith journey continued, she later united with Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church and also fellowshipped with Tabernacle of Faith in Wynne, Arkansas, until her health began to decline. Her unwavering faith remained a cornerstone of her life. A proud graduate of Forrest City High School, Class of 1978, Sandra believed in hard work and dedication. She began her professional career with the United States Postal Service, where she served faithfully for many years until her retirement. Her commitment and professionalism left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Sandra had a zest for life and found joy in the simple pleasures. She was known for her delicious cooking, her love of shopping, and her fondness for good television-especially comedies like The Bernie Mac Show. Her warm and outgoing spirit made her the life of any gathering, as she naturally connected with people and brought smiles wherever she went. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Effie Jones Wilson and Jessie Wilson; three brothers, Claude B. Rogers, Terry Edward Rogers, and Rodney Earl Rogers; as well as one niece and one nephew. Sandra's beautiful memory will forever be cherished by her loving children: Tenisha Wilson of Texarkana, Texas, Travis Hurst of Lewisville, Texas, and Camellia Stewart of Texarkana, Texas. She also leaves behind six adoring grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a devoted circle of siblings: Gloria Wilson of California, Beatrice (Roy) Hancock, Marilyn Wilson of Forrest City, Arkansas, Cynthia (Marvin) Allen of Forrest City, Arkansas, and Billy (Michelle) Ghess of Parkin, Arkansas. Her presence will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by her kindness, laughter, and love. Though Sandra's earthly journey has come to an end, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy is one of strength, compassion, and unwavering faith.
