Sandra Loraine Tillery, a beacon of joy and love in our lives, was born on April 15, 1950, in Denver. Sandra passed away on January 25, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with health issues. Throughout her life, she approached each day with a warm smile, a good laugh, and an adventurous spirit that inspired everyone around her.
As a mother, Sandra's proudest accomplishment was raising her five children: Ed, Ricky, Karl, Nicene, and Elaine. She embraced motherhood with an unwavering commitment, nurturing her children with love and patience. Her home was always filled with warmth and laughter, and a stern hand. No matter how simple the adventure—whether it was a spontaneous car ride or a family dinner—Sandra found joy in every moment spent with her loved ones.
Her joyful and forthcoming personality was complemented by a deep faith that grounded her. Sandra loved the Bible and her church community, finding solace and strength in her beliefs. She was always offering words of encouragement and perhaps a light-hearted joke to brighten someone's day.
Sandra had a love of animals, particularly cats and dogs, whose companionship brought her endless comfort. In her free time, you could find her engrossed in word searches or enjoying a meal out. She found joy in the little pleasures of life, reminding us all to cherish each moment we have.
Though she faced her health challenges with grace and dignity, her spirit never wavered, even in the face of adversity. God called her home, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever resonate within the hearts of those who knew her.
As we remember Sandra, let us hold on to the memories of her joyful laughter, her warm hugs, and her unwavering love. She will be deeply missed by her family and cherished in the hearts of her friends. May her soul rest in peace, knowing she has left an indelible mark on all of our lives.
