Mount Carmel – Sandra A. Toy, 76, of 323 N. Oak St., passed away on February 4, 2026, at her residence.

She was born April 21, 1949, to the late Robert and Anna (Galitski) Toy. Sandy was raised by a special aunt and uncle, Rose and Michael Kolovich. She grew up with her cousin, Geraldine Wychock, who was like a sister to her.

Sandy was a lifelong resident of Mount Carmel and a 1967 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. She worked as a nurse's aide at Danville State Hospital until her retirement.

Sandy was a member of Our Mother of Consolation Church, now known as Divine Redeemer Church. She loved doing crafts, enjoyed watching movies, and loved to spoil her loved ones.

Sandy is survived by her cousins, Gary Wychock of Mount Carmel, Paula (Wychock) Dougherty of Lititz, Joey Dougherty of Los Angeles, CA, and Deena Dougherty of NYC. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, an aunt and uncle, Rose and Michael Kolovich, and a cousin, Geraldine Wychock.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 11 a.m. with Father Bernard Wamayose, A.J., officiating in Divine Redeemer Church, 300 W. Ave., Mt. Carmel. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 9 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. with Transferal Prayers starting at 10 a.m. in the C J Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt.
