Sandra Ellen Vosburgh-Fish, age 78, of Northville, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville.
She was born on May 2, 1947, in Amsterdam, the eldest child of Everson L. Vosburgh and Rita McEvoy Vosburgh.
Sandra graduated from Bishop Burke High School in 1965 and later attended Mildred Elley. Over the years, she worked at Walsh and Russo Law Firm, Helen Shada Antiques, and as an independent cosmetologist, before joining Fulton-Montgomery Community College, where she served for twenty years until her retirement in 2008.
In October of 1972, Sandra married Everett J. Fish, who preceded her in death in August 1991. She is survived by their two children, Heather E. Dodson of Broadalbin and Torrance E. Fish of Northville; her sister, Suzanne (Vosburgh) Richichi of Franklin, WI; two nephews; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Sandra was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Church in Johnstown. A gifted and avid crafter, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, leatherworking, and basket weaving. She took great pride in her gardens, especially her herb garden. Sandra was a member of the Pine Tree Rifle Club and enjoyed hunting and was involved with Colonial Little Theatre. One of her greatest joys was her yellow lab, Strat, a certified therapy dog, who brought comfort to many.
A private memorial service and interment will be held for family at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
