Sandra Jean Waldren, 81, of Potosi passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in Clyde. No services are scheduled at this time.
Sandra was born January 27, 1943, in Belton to Lawrence and Edith (McMillan) Paschall. She attended Abilene High School and married Donald "Ray" Waldren in Abilene on January 3, 1959. She will be remembered for her devotion to Ray, her husband of 51 years, her children, family and friends. She handled everything life threw at her with grace. She always met people where they were and accepted them for who they were. She enjoyed traveling the country with family and friends in their RV's. Sandra volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years. She doted on her many pets and supported the SPCA. She'll be remembered for creating a warm, welcoming home, amazing home cooked meals, especially her banana pudding and chocolate pies.
She is survived by her son, Steve Waldren and his partner, Homer Hernandez of Dallas; her daughter, Tammy Tackett and husband Larry of Clyde; her sisters, Lavonne Lansford, Kay and Shorty Wilson and Juanita Rains; grandchildren, Bobby and Jamie Tackett; great grandchildren, Jordyn, Haise, Brexlee and Maylee and many beloved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Edith; four brothers, L.S., Charles, Darrell and Royce Paschall; brother-in-law, Harold Waldren and sister-in-law, Karolyn Hardy.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donation in Sandra's memory to Meals on Wheels or the ASPCA.
