Sandra Wallace Welborn

Sandra Faye Wallace Welborn, 70, of Greensboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital after a long and courageous battle with illness.

Born on December 21, 1954, Sandra was the daughter of the late Lawrence Edward Wallace and the late Nancy Mae Barnett. A devoted and hardworking woman, she was employed for many companies and spent her last years working for Tyco Electronics. For the past twenty years, Sandra faced numerous health challenges, meeting each one with remarkable strength and faith.

Sandra will be remembered for her love of her cats, her joy in fishing, and her passion for watching NASCAR with her family. Above all, she cherished her loved ones and held a deep and enduring love for Jesus.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Wayne Barnett and Mittie Stoots Barnett, and her grandson, Corwin Cash Jr.

Left to treasure her memory are her children, Mason Welborn; Jenny Cash and husband Corwin "Cash" of High Point; and Rachel Newman of King; grandchildren, Micah, Miriam, Madalie, Emmanuel, and Miranda, Matthew, Madison, Mallory; great-grandchildren, Noelle, Hudson, and Lilly; her brother, Pete Wallace and wife Donna of High Point; her sister, Debra Nash of High Point; and numerous other beloved family members.

There will be a celebration of life will be held at 1:30pm on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at New Life Family Church, located at 6701 Ken Coy Rd, Jamestown, NC 27282.
